Toy Story 3 to join The Billion Dollar Movie Club
If there is one elite circle for movies, it is The Billion Dollar Movie Club, which is a list of movies that have grossed at least $1 billion in the box office. The latest movie to join six other top earners is Disney/Pixar’s Toy Story 3, which is also said to be the first animated film to do so.
Last Friday, Disney announced Toy Story 3 reached the $1 billion mark, making it the studio’s second top grosser this year – the first one is Alice in Wonderland with a worldwide box office earnings of $1,024,298,794 – consequently making Disney the first studio to have two billion-grossers in the same year.
