RLC launches P3-B Ortigas condo dev’t
Robinsons Land Corporation (RLC), the biggest developer in the Ortigas Central Business District, is building a new prime residential project in the area that is expected to generate about P3 billion in sales.
In a press briefing, RLC president Frederick Go said they have decided to put up The Sapphire after noting that there has been no new first class residential project in the Ortigas CBD in a long time.
RLC vice president for business development Mybelle Aragon-Gobio said the project is being developed on a 2,500 square meter lot at the corner of Sapphire and Garnet roads in Ortigas Center that the firm acquired from Veterans Bank.
The Sapphire will consist of two 38-storey towers with flat units ranging from one to three bedrooms priced at P2.8 million to P9 million. Gobio said the first tower, which is slated for completion in 2013, will generate sales of about P1.5 billion.
The first tower boasts of efficiently laid-out 1-bedroom units with areas of 30, 33 and 37.20 square meters, 2-bedroom units with 45.50 and 60 square meters, and 3-bedroom units with 97 square meters.
The project will have a modern, Art-Deco-inspired architectural design. It will have commercial units, pools and a garden while the second floor will have more amenities for residents.
“The Sapphire allows future residents to experience the heights of modern urban living amid a fast-paced, thrilling environment with an ideal location,” said Go adding that it also “guarantees accessibility and convenience perfect for your on-the-go lifestyle.”
He also noted the project’s close proximity to shopping destinations and hotels like Robinsons Galleria, Podium, Metrowalk, Crowne Plaza and Holiday Inn.
