All Electric CODA Sedan Coming to Hawaii in 2011

There is another eco-friendly car set for a 2011 release and it comes from a privately held American company named CODA Automotive.
Known for selling all-electric vehicles and battery systems, the company plans to launch the CODA Sedan in Hawaii by the third quarter of 2011.
Limited deliveries of the CODA Sedan is set at the end of 2010 and are said to be affordably priced.
This is a four-door sedan, five passenger car that is powered by an electric drive system.
The CODA Sedan will boast of a 33.8 KW/h lithium-ion battery system which is said to offer 40% more usable energy compared to the electric cars available in the market today.
CODA's proprietary battery management and thermal management systems will keep the battery within a specified temperature range.
For every 100,000 miles of use, each CODA Sedan will have an average CO2 savings of 21.8 tons compared to a 25 MPG internal combustion engine-based car.
