CEB trying to accommodate rebooking requests for China
After accommodating some one thousand rebooking and cancellation requests from Mainland China and Hong Kong, Cebu Pacific Air (CEB) announced that it will do its best to accommodate rebooking requests to help all passengers scheduled to travel from September 1 to 15, 2010 to and from these destinations to the Philippines.
Passengers may rebook their flights or store the value of their booking in a Travel Fund without penalties, the airline said in a statement. Aside from offering them assistance, CEB remains consistent in offering seat sales and CEB’s trademark year-round low fares to further stimulate travel in these areas.
“We have also seen a slight softening of forward bookings for our Hong Kong-Cebu and Shanghai-Manila flights. However, forward bookings from Hong Kong to Manila and Clark, as well as Guangzhou to Manila are still climbing,” according to CEB executives. “This stable climb of forward bookings is the same for majority of our international routes.”
In mainland China, CEB flies to Shanghai daily, and to Guangzhou thrice weekly. It will launch its 16th international destination, Beijing, on September 5, 2010. The airline also flies from Manila, Cebu and Clark to Hong Kong, offering the most number of routes and frequencies from the Philippines.
