MB Daily News Update: PBBM orders 1-yr moratorium on payment of amortization, interests for ARBs
President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. gifted agrarian reform beneficiaries (ARBs) on his own birthday when he ordered a one-year moratorium on the collection of amortization and interests under the Comprehensive Agrarian Reform Program (CARP).
This, as the President was inundated with well wishes on his 65th birthday from son Sandro, Vice President Sara Duterte, to lawmakers and local government officials.
A Philippine archaeological team, with the help of an indigenous peoples community, unearthed new discoveries that were estimated to date back to the last ice age that ended 11,700 years ago.
Meanwhile, the Department of Budget and Management (DBM) debunked earlier reports that the budgets of the country’s top specialty hospitals have been cut.
