More than 180 pastors and their wives from GenSan and neighboring provinces of Sarangani and Cotabato attended the Ministering to Ministers (M2M) conference in General Santos City held by the Christian Broadcasting Network Asia (CBN Asia) recently.

CBN Asia President and Chief Executive Officer Peter Kairuz and his wife Christine spoke at the conference held at the Phela Grande Convention Center. They spoke on the keys to keeping marriages strong, including showing honor, respect, reverence, and value; and improving communication between husband and wife.

Towards the end of the meeting, the couples were led in a prayer of forgiveness and recommitment of love.

Pastor Richard Manero, who has been serving for two decades in a Sarangani church, said: “I felt as if there was a renewal of the covenant of marriage with my wife Marites.”

Right after M2M, guests availed themselves of medical checkups, tooth extractions, and reading eyeglasses — all for free — in a medical mission for the couples in ministry conducted by Operation Blessing Foundation Philippines, the humanitarian arm of CBN Asia.

CBN Asia, producer of the daily inspirational show The 700 Club Asia, has undertaken similar programs in cities like Manila, Cebu, Davao, Cabanatuan, and Dumaguete, and also among Filipino pastors in Hong Kong.
