Businesswoman Cristina Decena's new boyfriend is Australian developer Kristijan Krstic.

Though reluctant to talk about him, she eventually warmed up to the subject upon the needling of the press at the launch of the resort-like condotel Cristina Place Tagaytay.

“Nag-joint venture ako sa business niya na ni-launch sa Clark Pampanga,” the businesswoman shared. “Parang ang saya-saya ko noon. Parang ang feeling ko, ito ang wedding day ko.”

After their initial meetings came more opportunities to hang out.

“We couldn’t live without each other,” Cristina said while flashing an identical ring.

Has he proposed?

“It’s still a work in progress. We’re not rushing things,” Kristijan explained.

For Cristina, who has had failed romances in the past including one with Phillip Salvador, having Kristijan in her life is like an answered prayer.

“Sa status ko mahirap makahanap ng partner in life. Kailangan achiever din at saka successful. Gift of God siya sa akin,” she said fondly.

Although a private person, Cristina says her new man is very accommodating.

“Very cooperative siya sa media. Hindi siya snob.”
