Zsa Zsa Padilla has returned to primetime TV via ABS-CBN’s newest soap “Idol.”

In “Idol,” Zsa Zsa plays Eleonor – the nouveau riche and fierce mom of singing heartthrob Vince played by Sam Milby. It should be noted that this is Zsa Zsa’s first full-length role in a soap opera since her much talked about performance in the highly successful “Lastikman” in 2007. Several roles on top-rating soaps were offered to Zsa Zsa but she was then busy in the US tour of “Divas4Divas.”
Today, fans can look forward to an edgy and unforgettable comedic performance from Zsa Zsa as she breathes life to the larger-than-life character of Eleonor.

Zsa Zsa will also be featured on “Idol” in electrifying and elaborate production numbers that will surely excite fans and music lovers alike.

“Singing and acting are two of my greatest loves. To be able to do both in this series is truly a blessing,” says Zsa Zsa.

Aside from “Idol,” Zsa Zsa is regularly seen on “ASAP XV” and her newest, full-length studio album “Unchanging Love” under Polyeast Records currently reached Gold Record in sales and is available in all record bars nationwide.

“Idol” is directed by Jojo Saguin and Ruel Bayani and it stars Sarah Geronimo, Sam Milby, Coco Martin, Agot Isidro, and Robert Seña among many others.

‘OPM Band Trilogy’  to rock Metro Bar

A gathering of the three of the best bands in the country is set to blaze the stage on Sept. 18, Friday, at the Metro Bar in West Avenue, Quezon City. Dubbed as “OPM Band Trilogy 2010” the concert will feature True Faith, 6CycleMind, and Sponge Cola.

Organized by Blissful Moments by CTS Concepts & Events of Ms. Charm Sevilla, part of the proceeds of the concert will benefit the Anawim Lay Mission Foundation, Inc. (Home for the Aged), which is based in Antipolo.

Starting at 9 p.m. the bands have come up with a diverse and exciting repertoire that will guarantee an exciting and memorable night. True Faith still commands a big following from fans who have enjoyed their numerous hits such as “Perfect,” “Huwag Na Lang Kaya,” “Muntik Ng Maabot Ang Langit,” and more while 6CycleMind has grown to become one of the country’s most favorite bands – having had hit singles such as “Sige,” “Sandalan,” “I,” “Princesa,” and more.
