“StarStruck V” finalist Enzo Pineda celebrated his 20th birthday last Aug. 14 with kids of Children’s Joy Foundation (CJF), a center for neglected children based in Project 8, Q.C.

Some of the orphans prepared musical and dance numbers for Enzo. They also gave the celebrity greeting cards with heartfelt messages.

“Nakakataba ng puso. Kung  sila, masaya na nandito ako celebrating my birthday, mas napasaya nila ako,” says the 6-footer hotshot who’s romantically linked to his “StarStruck V” mate Sarah Lahbati.

Enzo, described by her mother Macy as “very transparent and naturally helpful to kids,” shared food (care off Mang Inasal), sacks of rice and toys. He also gave encouraging words to and danced for the orphans who are now avowed “Enzopporters” (fans of Enzo).

The “StarStruck V” First Prince and GMA Artist Center talent regularly appears with the other members of the Final V on the GMA-7 Sunday show, “Party Pilipinas.” Enzo has also successfully finished work on the drama series “Diva” and “Lovebug.” He is currently doing a sitcom role on “Kaya Ng Powers.”

A focused young man, Enzo is taking a showbiz career path anchored on versatility--- the way his idol Dingdong Dantes, another Kapuso star, has taken the road to success.

“I want to be like him na marunong umarte, sumayaw, at kumanta,” quipped Enzo, who hopes to get roles in action and drama flicks.

The son of Manny Pacquiao’s business manager Eric Pineda, Enzo is unchanged by his celebrity. Loving and hardworking, he remains the same person even when he is now fast becoming a big star.

“Kung ano ako dati, ako pa din ‘yun.”

No wonder his mom Macy is very proud and supportive of her achiever of a son. The ex-model, cousin of Madel De Leon (of “John & Marsha” fame), says, “I’m amazed. Nakakatuwa at ang daming nag-aadmire kay Enzo.”
