A new war in the making?

The camp of up-and-coming actress Bela Padilla is mulling filing a case against her “Endless Love” co-star Marian Rivera, who allegedly intimidated the former during taping.

Padilla’s manager, Claire dela Fuente, said on “Juicy,” Sept. 9 that her ward has been “traumatized” by the incident.

Previous reports said that Padilla was allegedly confronted by Rivera out of jealousy over her real-life boyfriend and “Endless Love” leading man, Dingdong Dantes. Talk has it that Rivera got infuriated at Padilla for allegedly pressing her breasts against Dantes every time they had to embrace each other in a scene.

In her interview, dela Fuente related her ward’s account of the incident wherein Rivera locked herself and Padilla inside a comfort room in a hotel in Pampanga.

Marami pang iba [na sinabi] actually,” said dela Fuente.

The manager said that she only learned about it two days prior to the "Juicy" interview because of the numerous reports she came across with. She then called Padilla to confirm it.

However, during her pocket presscon last Aug. 31, Padilla said that Rivera “didn’t do anything physical to me.”

Dela Fuente also suspects that Rivera’s camp has been badmouthing Padilla to her ex-boyfriend, Kapamilya actor Jason Abalos.

Iba-iba, kung anu-ano,” said the veteran singer-turned-talent manager.

Part of the reason Padilla and Abalos called it quits is the controversy, dela Fuente revealed. “That’s very unfair to her,” she said. “I don’t think [she deserves] anyone na ganyan. Kailangan ang isang lalaki ipaglalaban ka.”

She, however, is clueless on rumors that Rivera wants Padilla out of the Koreanovela-adapted series.

“I’m not a privy to that kung pinapatanggal niya or anything, pero alingasngas ‘yan.

Dela Fuente said she has already brought up the issue to the GMA-7 executives, and “they’re trying to fix everything naman eh.”

She added that with the 50 to 100 people who are able to watch the shooting of “Endless Love” everyday, “Hindi mo puwedeng i-deny ‘yon. Alam nila kung anong nangyayari. Ako, I’m the last to know.”

Despite the rumors hounding Padilla at the beginning of her career as a Kapuso star, dela Fuente said that her ward remains optimistic.

Dela Fuente also related reminding her young talent of the value of good relations with other people.

Try to win everyone on the set kasi ayoko na makakadinig na mapipintasan ka.’

“Kasi palagi akong ganon. Lagi kong sinasabi na good manners and right conduct… si Bela nag-aral ‘yan sa International School,” she said.

Asked what message she would give Rivera, dela Fuente said:

Because of the alleged rift between the two actresses, Padilla is said to have earned haters who are fans of Rivera and Dantes (those who themselves DongYanatics).

An “open letter” to Bela Padilla written by a DongYantic is making the rounds online. The letter alleges that Padilla has dragged Rivera’s name and used GMA-7’s reigning primetime queen only to boost her popularity.

For me, sobrang foul na,” said dela Fuente of the “user” rumor.

Padilla herself has read the letter, and took to her newly-opened Twitter account to air her sentiments on the issue.

“thanks for the letter please realize that I never said anything, the comments came from people who witnessed what happened,” she posted on Sept. 8.

The young actress addressed the fans in another post: “I never had interviews I made her look good but I can't stop other people from writing what they saw and heard. I'm hurting too.”

She added that, “if I wanted to use anybody, I would have done it from the start. Why don't we look back and recall who started talking first :))”

Padilla is both frustrated and disappointed that some people are “close-minded,” and that she is “being judged by people who don’t know me” when she is “not the type of person who gets into fights.”

“Stop this!” she exclaimed in another tweet. “The negativity isn't helping anyone!! I know na I didn't do anything wrong. Stop it!”
