P714K 'shabu' seized in Calamba buy-bust

LAGUNA – Authorities collared a high-value individual (HVI) in a drug buy-bust operation in Calamba City early morning of Tuesday, April 4. The Laguna Police Provincial Office (PPO) identified the HVI as alias Ronald. The suspect was collared after being caught in the act of selling illegal drugs to a police poseur buyer in Barangay Pansol. Confiscated from alias Ronald were four plastic sachets of suspected “shabu” with an estimated street value of P714,000. The suspect is now under the custody of the Calamba City Police Station (CPS) and is facing drug charges. The confiscated pieces of evidence were submitted to the crime laboratory for forensic examination.
