HONG KONG, China -- Hong Kong stocks opened slightly higher on Monday after two of Wall Street's three major indices edged up to new records.
The Hang Seng Index was up 0.09 percent, or 15.45 points, to 16,741.31.
The Shanghai Composite Index added 0.08 percent, or 2.33 points to 3,007.21, and the Shenzhen Composite Index on China's second exchange rose 0.50 percent, or 8.36 points, to 1,678.21.
