Aiko Melendez : 'Sabi nila di na uso ang Covid...'
Aiko Melendez extended an apology to those expecting her to be up and about doing her work as councilor in Quezon City.
Apparently, she is in quarantine.
She has tested positive for COVID-19.
The actress-politician shared on Instagram: "Apologies to everyone, especially to my constituents in dist 5 QC. for I won't be able to attend to invitations and activities for the next few days. I have just tested positive for COVID today, Thursday, May 11, 2023 and is currently self-quarantining at home."
Aiko reminded followers: "Please, everyone, take care of yourselves too. Make sure to wear your masks and to drink vitamins at all times. COVID is still out there. We should not risk our health. I encourage everyone to continue to prevent the spread of the virus."

A few days ago, veteran host Luis Manzano also revealed that he tested positive for COVID-19.
"Stay safe everyone! Tumataas nanaman cases! First time tamaan since start of the pandemic," he wrote on Instagram.
She then thanked those who sent her well wishes. "Isang malungkot na balita po pero magiging ok din po ako," she assured them. "Salamat sa patuloy na nagdadasal para sa akin... Sabi nila di na uso ang Covid... wala pala sa uso uso yan kapag tatamaan ka uso man yan o hindi na tatamaan ka." Aiko is adamant she''l eventually recover noting she had her vaccine shots and boosters too. In another story, she shared about having rashes and loose bowel movements.
