WATCH: Loewe dresses up Filipina social media sensation Mathilda

The spin queen wears a look from the brand's fall 2023 collection

Mathilda, also known as Mathilda Airlines Official on TikTok, must be spinning in the clouds, as Spanish fashion house Loewe features her in its latest social media campaign. Mathilda is seen dressed in a complete ensemble straight from the maison’s fall 2023 collection.

In a TikTok video posted by the brand, Mathilda executed her signature spin on the pole while donning Loewe’s playful interpretation of Polly Pocket toy doll pieces, which were first showcased on the runway in March 2023.

Loewe captioned the video, "Queen @Mathilda Airlines Official wearing a Polly Pocket look from Loewe's Fall Winter 2023 collection." 

Loewe’s square-line Polly Pocket-inspired pieces came in shades of pink and green and were elevated with the use of leather. The pink top featured a cropped silhouette, while the sleeves remained above the elbows. As for the green skirt, it gained dimension through pleating techniques in the leather crafting.

Mathilda, whose real name is Vince Monares Quinabandal, went viral in 2022 when she effortlessly spun on a pole. One of her videos, posted on Christmas Day, has now accumulated over 64.8 million views and 9.7 million likes. Today, the social media sensation boasts over 778,900  followers and 33.8 million video likes on TikTok alone.
