Water interruption expected in some parts of NCR, Rizal due to repair- Manila Water
Water interruption is expected to be experienced by residents in some parts of Metro Manila and Rizal from April 19 to 25 due to maintenance activities, the Manila Water announced on Tuesday, April 18.
Based on the advisory from the Manila Water, the affected areas are some parts of Mandaluyong, Makati, Taguig, San Juan, Quezon City in the National Capital Region (NCR) and, Binangonan and Taytay in Rizal.
It said the water interruption in Taytay, Rizal; Quezon City, Taguig City, Makati City, and Mandaluyong City from 10 p.m. on April 19 to 4 a.m. on April 20 is due to line meter replacement and line meter strainer declogging.
Affected areas are some parts of Barangays San Isidro, Tandang Sora, Pinagsama , Cembo, Barangka Drive, Ilaya (Kapalaran, Silangan, and Countryside Street), parts of ( Boni Ave, Halcon, Pinatubo, Makaturing, Limay, Dansalan. St., Malapantao, Wayan, Natib, Kapok, P. Oliveros, Sacrepante, Agudo, Kayumanggi), parts of Brgy. Ibaba (P. Victorino, P.Cruz, E. Pantaleon, Sampaguita, Coronado St., Sunflower, Santan, Cattleya, Everlasting, Yellow, Ilang Ilang, P. Oliveros and Rosal Street and parts of Guadalupe Nuevo.
On the other hand, Taytay, Rizal residents will experience water interruption from 11 p.m. on April 19 to 5 a.m. on April 20 due to line meter strainer declogging.
Affected area are parts of Barangays Santo Nino in Cainta; and, parts of Barangay San Isidro in Taytay.
From 10 p.m. on April 20 to 4 a.m. on April 21, the affected areas in Quezon City are parts of Barangays Rizal, Mariana, Immaculate Concepcion, Balong Bato and Ermitanyo.
In Binangonan, the scheduled repair is from 10 p.m. on April 21 to 4 a.m. on April 22 and will affect Barangay Darangan (Mabuhay Homes) and parts of Barangay Pantok.
In Tagui City, the water interruption is expected from 10 p.m. of April 24 to 4 a.m. on April 25 in some parts of Western Bicutan.
“Manila Water is reminding all the affected residents to store enough water to supply their needs during the maintenance period,” Manila Water said.
It also reminded the public to conduct flushing once the water service is restored, by letting the water flow for a few minutes until the water runs clear. (Nicole Magmanlac)
