Make sure to get a copy of the November issue of Agriculture Magazine published by the Manila Bulletin and edited by yours truly. It is now off the press and is available in leading bookstores as well as the outlets of Manila Bulletin nationwide.

You will read the inspiring story of Alfonso Namujhe Jr. and his wife Flordeliza who are the biggest citrus producers in Nueva Vizcaya. They produce ponkan and Satsuma oranges.

Their Satsuma trees flower in February, March and April. Staggered harvesting is in July, August and September.

You will also read about the big white shrimp business in Thailand as reported by yours truly. We visited the leading players in aquaculture in Thailand recently.

The recent Agrilink trade show is also well covered in this issue. Other stories include Eucheuma in La Union; making money in spring onions; bignay wine; benefits of natural farming, and many others.
