Caloocan Judicial Complex to be closed July 21 after two employees test positive for COVID-19

The Caloocan City Judicial Complex will be temporarily closed on Tuesday (July 21) for disinfection after two employees assigned at the city’s Regional Trial Court (RTC) tested positive for coronavirus disease (COVID-19).

The advisory was issued by Executive Judge Victoriano Cabanos through a memorandum posted on the Supreme Court’s Twitter account on Monday (July 20).

According to him, electronic filing and the scheduled hearings through video conferencing “shall proceed as scheduled,” and that court transactions will continue through e-mails and hotline calls.

The advisory was coordinated and approved by SC’s Assistant Court Administrator Lilian Baribal-Co.
On May 20, the same judicial complex was closed and placed on lockdown for several days after a worker there tested positive for COVID-19.
