MANILA, Philippines – US warns of a terrorist threat facing the Philippines.

It came in the wake of moves by Malacañang to subject the Visiting Forces Agreement to a review. Something fishy here.

Six countries have issued warnings of a terrorist threat in the Philippines.

But all is going well in this country. Is there something behind this?

Noynoy says there is no adequate basis for a terrorist threat in this country.

We believe our President more than we believe the others who are crying wolf for nothing.

Noynoy is accused of treating a former president a sacred cow by giving her district P2,2 billion in public works funds.

It’s called noblesse oblige.

Communists hit Noynoy for negative attitude toward resumption of peace talk meeting.

They have been negotiating for 50 years without results. Government is tired of the charade.

More than 25,000 Filipino student nurses now in the United Kingdom have benefited from a study and work program under the UK Borders and Immigration rules and many of these nurses have found opportunities which have allowed them to become permanent residents.

This was disclosed by members of the newly founded association of consultancies dealing strictly with student visas, the Philippine Association of International Counselors for Education (PAICE), in a media statement.

According to PAICE President Elmer Gaspay and Nick Vickers, vice president for international relations, those Filipina nurses who underwent further studies in colleges and universities were able to qualify for RN status by taking up the Overseas Nursing Program after studying two or more years while doing on-the-job training with care homes.
