Ai Ai set to claim throne anew on Nov. 19
“Comedy Concert Queen” Ai Ai delas Alas is set to claim her throne anew in her 20th anniversary concert billed as “Akin ang Tronong ‘To” which will be held at the Araneta Coliseum.
As expected, the night promises to be full of rollicking fun and laughter as Ai Ai unleashes her comic fury onstage performing the hit songs of iconic figures Madonna, Lady Gaga and Michael Jackson, among others. She will also do some production numbers from rock to Korean pop.
Fans will certainly be delighted to know that Ai Ai will be in her spontaneous, uncensored best as she walks on the stage in her most flamboyant fashion. As everyone knows by now, only she can pull off a risqué performance and infuse it with downright irreverent banters with the audience.
Joining Ai Ai onstage is a solid line-up of special guests: Sharon Cuneta, Regine Velasquez, Lea Salonga, and Christopher de Leon.
“Akin ang Tronong ‘To” is presented by Ambient Media in partnership with ABS-CBN and “ASAP XV.” It is directed by Floy Quintos with Homer Flores as musical director, dance choreography by Georcelle Dapat Sy and costumes by Maxie Cinco.
Sponsors are Manila Bulletin, Business World, 97.9 Home Radio, Ticketnet, Araneta Coliseum and Sisters Sanitary Napkin and Pantyliners. Tickets are available at Ticketnet outlets.
