Authorities seized some P7.5 million worth of shabu that was concealed in two air parcels that were discovered in a courier service's warehouse.

The two parcels, wherein some 1.1 kilos of shabu were hidden, were turned over to the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA), the Bureau of Customs Port of NAIA (Ninoy Aquino International Airport) and the NAIA Inter-Agency Drug Interdiction Task Group (NAIA-IADITG), on Wednesday, Sept. 29
The parcels were immediately subjected to physical examination after X-ray scanning.
During the inspection, a total of four plastics containing white crystalline substance were found concealed in shirts. They were later confirmed as shabu.

Importation documents show the seized air cargoes were from Malaysia and declared as cloth, slippers and food chip.
The seized illegal drugs are now under the custody of PDEA for case profiling and build up against those responsible for the entry of the illegal drugs in the country.
