Health wearables and devices

Regarding wearables, almost all leading brands in the wearable technology market have developed smartwatch solutions that feature advanced health monitoring capabilities like ECG, blood oxygen monitoring, and sleep tracking, making them valuable tools for health management. A good contender for the wearable market is Fitbit. After being acquired by Google, it sparked more interest while providing
features that enhance not only fitness but also wellness.
Health management through AI

In 2023, AI’s progress in healthcare zoomed like a rocket. AI-powered imaging, AI-driven chatbots, and virtual assistants harness the power of AI to deliver faster and more accurate diagnoses and provide 24/7 access to healthcare information and basic medical advice. AI for mental health is also being explored with the use of AI-powered chatbots and therapists to provide support for those struggling with depression and anxiety.
Where art and technology intersect

When art embraced technology, it pushed the boundaries of traditional art forms. AI-generated visuals, digital art/paintings/illustrations, and immersive and interactive experiences became popular. Then there are the NFTs or non-fungible tokens. Its prominent rise in 2021 and catastrophic fall in 2022 caused Open Sea, the dominant NFT marketplace, to lay off half its employees in 2023.
Fashion makes it in the metaverse

In the world of fashion, AI and machine learning have gained traction when it comes to personal styling, making shopping for clothes more efficient and convenient. Then, of course, the Metaverse Fashion Week took place - a major milestone in the global fashion industry. In addition, luxury brands like Louis Vuitton, Dolce & Gabbana, Gucci, and Burberry, to name a few, have already started experimenting with fashion in the metaverse. Establishing virtual flagship stores and immersive showrooms and offering exclusive digital items all redefine the world of fashion.
