Government anti-narcotics authorities discovered on Wednesday, May 17, an abandoned bag containing P19,352,800 of shabu at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminal 1.
The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) said the bag contains 2,846 grams of shabu and is believed to be owned by a passenger ho arrived on Dec. 26 last year but was denied entry in the Philippines.
The NAIA-Inter-Agency Drug Interdiction Task Group (IADITG) also found a bag containing a bundle of clothes, one pink handbag, a black pouch containing a make-up kit, a bundle of wrench tools, one figurine and one improvised pouch made of board and packing tape.
