Wanted persons in Pasay, Las Piñas arrested in manhunt operations
Two wanted persons in the cities of Pasay and Las Piñas were arrested in separate manhunt operations conducted by the police on Sept. 13 and 14.
According to the Southern Police District (SPD), the suspects were identified as Jofrank Cano, 33, wanted for violating the Anti-Carnapping Act on two counts; and Dominic Cadotdot, 3, wanted for robbery.
The SPD said members of the Warrant and Subpoena Section (WSS) of the Pasay city police arrested Cano at around 1:00 p.m. on Sept.13 along Pasadena St., Barangay70, Pasay City.
Cano who was tagged by Pasay police as the fourth most wanted person was arrested by virtue of a warrant of arrest issued by Judge Barry Boy Ariola Salvador, assisting judge of Pasay Regional Trial Court (RTC) Branch 12.
The warrant for the arrest of Cano was issued on January 11, 2021 with bail recommended of P300,000.
In Las Piñas, members of the WSS arrested Cadotdot, tagged as the fifth most wanted person, at around 4:00 p.m. along Saint Louie Village , Barangay Talon 3, Las Piñas on Sept. 14.
Judge Pia Cristina Bersamin Embuscado of Las Piñas RTC Branch 198 issued a warrant for the arrest of Cadotdot on Sept. 7.
The SPD said both suspects were detained at the police custodial facilities in Pasay and Las Piñas after their arrest.
