KUH LEDESMA with The Hitmakers Rico J. Puno, Marco Sison, Nonoy Zuñiga and Rey Valera

It may be too early yet, but to prepare for a big concert, especially for a Valentine’s presentation, requires a lot of preparation and one does not take chances. Every detail of the show must be explored well!

Such is the intensive preparation now being undertaken for the concert entitled “The Greatest Songs of Our Time: The Diva and Hitmakers.”

The concert, to be mounted on Feb. 12 and 13 at the PICC stars the Pop Diva herself, Kuh Ledesma, and The Hitmakers, Rico J. Puno, Marco Sison, Dr. Nonoy Zuñiga, and composer-singer Rey Valera. It will be the first time that Kuh performs with The Hitmakers!

The Hitmakers are presently co-hosting “Pilipinas Win Na Win,” a Monday to Friday afternoon show on ABS-CBN. The four balladeers have been tagged as The Hitmakers because their shows together have always been very successful and SROs, whether in the United States or here in the Philippines!

A producer, several years back, came up with the idea of putting the four artists together on stage as a musical experiment. It was a tremendous success, and since then, the four became known as “The Hitmakers,” now a formal group of four music icons!

The Pop Diva of local music, Kuh is known for her distinct voice and stage presence. She is in a class of her own, on and off stage. Kuh is one of the greatest singers the country has ever produced, and proof of that is her long string of hits and sold-out live performances here and abroad.

Kuh and The Hitmakers’ concert is expected to be an unforgettable musical experience considering their reputation as singers and performers.

Manila Sound Project Paskong Pinoy set tonight at Aliw

The Manila Sound Project Paskong Pinoy is slated tonight at 8 at the Aliw Theater at the CCP Complex. Performers are the founders and/or members of the legendary groups Hotdog, Hagibis, VST & Company, as well as other bands such as Glass Onion.

The show is sponsored by PCSO, Business Mirror, Hard Rock Café and RJ100 FM.

The group started its performance tour last September. They’ve performed at the Newport Theater for the Performing Arts at Resorts World Manila, in Davao, Angeles City, Subic, Tagaytay, SM Rosales, Ynares Coliseum in Antipolo and other places.

The Manila Sound Project will cap the year with the New Year Countdown show at Dusit Thani Hotel on Dec. 31.

Flawless perfect endorser

Another perfect endorser for Flawless was signed up recently. He is Edward Mendez, a fresh face who is indeed perfect to endorse Flawless’ new exciting services.
