MANILA, Philippines - Actress Dina Bonnevie has denied speculations that her soon-to-be daughter-in-law Kristine Hermosa is pregnant.

“No... never... impossible. Kita mo ba kung gaano siya kapayat? Mukhang patpat. Lalo pa siyang pumapayat ngayon,” came Dina’s denial on “Showbiz News Ngayon” on Dec. 29.

Kristine is set to marry Oyo Boy Sotto on Jan. 12 in a lakeside resort in Batangas. The wedding date coincides with Oyo’s birthday.

Dina revealed there’s no rush for the couple to have a baby since “meron din namang ampon sila na boy.”

“Wala akong natatandaan na they want to have kids kaagad. But of course, obviously they really have to have their own. Siguro naman within one year, ganyan,” she said.

Kristine, Dina says, will not turn her back on showbusiness after she becomes Mrs. Oyo Boy Sotto.

“Kinausap ko siya. Sabi niya, 'Gusto ko ‘yung tama lang... na meron akong time sa kanya, time para sa...'"

The couple also revealed some of their plans to Dina.

“Meron na silang nakuhang house... rent muna. And then I think after... sabi niya after eight months they’re going to build na. Sabi ko, 'Bakit eight months?' Sabi niya, 'Gusto ko, eh'."

Oyo and Kristine’s forthcoming wedding will be a simple and private affair. Invited guests will not exceed 200. ABS-CBN president Charo Santos-Concio and "Eat Bulaga" head Malou Choa-Fagar are among the sponsors.

Reportedly, Oyo proposed to Kristine on her birthday last year, with Kristine immediately saying yes.
