Pinoy invention causes sensation on YouTube
MANILA, Philippines — A little over three months ago, googling “Ismael Aviso” would have you come up with a couple of YouTube videos showing a stationary, skeletal-looking car with a running engine fed not with petroleum but with power apparently coming from a box of capacitors and a thick, horizontal antenna that collects and harnesses free-flowing energy.
Now, Ismael Aviso has his own gleaming feature page over free energy concepts-sharing website Pure Energy Systems Wiki (PESWiki) that practically hails the Filipino as the next big thing in green technology.
“When we hear of electric vehicles, we typically envision a trunk full of batteries. Not so with an electric vehicle prototype developed by Filipino inventor, Ismael Aviso. In his small prototype vehicle, one 12-volt battery is all that is needed, because his vehicle is not running from the storage capacity of the battery, but the battery is merely serving as the delivery point for the energy that is being harvested from unseen energy all around us through his special circuitry,” wrote Sterling Allan in Aviso’s PESWiki page.
Aviso, the 54-year-old mineral water business man and electric car inventor from Navotas City, is on his way to becoming a viral presence online, if he isn’t already.
His emergence over the Internet and on the pages of this daily could not have come at a better time for Filipinos, whose one enduring headache has been the high cost of domestic fuel.
Since November, when Aviso was still improving on his design, petroleum prices have climbed by R4 to R5 a liter, depending on fuel product.
“Nations all over the world are making a stake on electricity-powered cars,” Aviso bared. “Pinoy e-car technology is better, cheaper and more efficient. We should not be left out; instead of importing this technology, we must employ this know-how to build our own e-cars and sell it to the world.”
Both the Department of Energy (DoE) and Department of Science and Technology (DoST) have taken notice of his fuel-less car invention, which, when repackaged into a conversion kit, can turn petroleum-guzzling vehicles into electric ones.
The DoST will lead the conduct of a possible road test this month on Aviso’s car, to be witnessed by DoE’s Alternative Fuels and Energy Technology Division.
The spectacled and gray-haired Aviso remains hopeful that a successful test run would lead him to investors and venture capitalists, that is, if the government doesn’t help finance his endeavor.
“The Philippine government can help me gain an easy way to get a huge loan from a bank. From then on I’ll focus on producing conversion kits,” he said, simplifying his plan.
Aviso manages to send a powerful message in one of his YouTube videos wherein he drove around his impoverished town aboard his bare-bones prototype car, providing a first-person view of his neighborhood.
“Here’s the picture of where I’ve been living for the past 35 years, but I’m happy. Most people here have low salaries and cannot afford decent homes or nutritious food.”
“Maybe I can do something to uplift the living condition of my neighborhood once I get the right car manufacturer to mass-produce my conversion kit.” he said, even as the people whom he is referring to seem to ignore his strange-looking car as he passes by.

im from Cyprus but i always make it a habit to read MB online after work n was amazed by this invention from e phil's, is it really possible to do that? if this s really true then we should be very proud of what he has invented n hopefully this s one-step forward for us to be recognized globally. well done Mr. Aviso n keep up e good work, make us filipinos proud.
since the Philippines is one of the most corrupt countries in existence, the government can capitalize on this notoriety by establishing an international scam university whose teaching faculty will be composed of past and present government officials to be led by no other than former "lucky bitch" president gloria macapagal arroyo in tandem with her husband, the silent operator./mastermind of the grandest scams ever perpetrated on the Filipino people, mike arroyo. mikey arroyo, the fake party list rep. of security guards will also be in the teaching faculty. prospective enrolees from all over the world will also be offered masteral and doctoral degrees in their chosen field of specialization. how about that as a new and original venture by our talented "public servants".
Mr. Ismael's motor is highly possible. Seeing all his demonstrations convinced me that it is real. His design is based on Nicola Tesla's theory of wireless power transmission. His small battery is only needed to power up the oscillator and the power collector which is the integral part of his invention and the collected power, through the storage capacitors is the one that drives the motor.
But i'm sorry to disappoint most of you, the way I see it is that his machine is harvesting or collecting the power that the cell sites or perhaps tv or radio stations are transmitting. Please do a test drive in a place where there is no cell phone service or better yet find out the transmission frequency of the cell phone companies that matches your ambient frequency and put a cell phone next to your collector and checkout whether the phone would loose the signal.
Never the less, I can say that he is a genius in his own right. His invention can open up endless possibilities. Private companies can put up wireless power tranmitters all over the place and cars can be fitted with the "Ismael Motor" and collect the transmitted power over the thin air. That will revolutionize the electric car industry, because car wouldn't have to carry heavy batteries and wouldn't have to stop for recharge.
I just hope and pray that he will not be sued by any of the phone companies or TV networks.
This is not a good thing for the Philippines. It is a scam. A clever and well executed scam but nothing more. It is not even a new scam. It is based on a false story - Nikola Tesla's Pierce Arrow - . The story came out in the 1960's and was based on events that (never really) happened in the 1930s. Sorry - impossible.
I agree with you man,,let me call you Tikboy. First of all, the big box that the announcer says is the special capacitor is just a bunch of small batteries in series enclosed in a metal box- for sure. Of course, they are continously discharging the capacitor because the current (from the hidden alternator) have no were to go, cause you can't just transfer or charge it to the batt instantly, it takes time to charge the batt.- 8 - 12 hrs. That's why 5-6 minutes is the max they can run, otherwise, caput.
instead of hearing bad things about the Philippines....at least this one is a good one...fed up of crimes corruption in the Philippines
