'Dangerous' heat index recorded in Pasay City, 25 more areas on April 22
The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said a dangerous heat index of 42°C was recorded in Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) in Pasay City on Monday, April 22.

Meanwhile, PAGASA recorded a dangerous heat index of 46°C in Puerto Princesa City, Palawan, followed by a heat index of 45°C in Aborlan, Palawan; Virac, Catanduanes, and Zamboanga City, Zamboanga del Sur.
A heat index of 44°C was also recorded in Dipolog, Zamboangq del Norte; Central Bicol State University of Agriculture (CBSUA) station in Pili, Camarines Norte; snd Iloilo City, Iloilo.
In Dagupan City, Pangasinan; Aparri, Cagayan; Central Luzon State University (CLSU) station in Muñoz, Nueva Ecija; Sangley Point, Cavite; Coron, Palawan; San Jose, Occidental Mindoro; Masbate City, Masbate; and Roxas City, Capiz, dangerous heat index of 43°C was felt.
Meanwhile, Baler, Aurora; Casiguran, Aurora; Ambulong, Tanauan, Batangas; Infanta, Quezon; Daet, Camarines Norte; Masbate City, Masbate; Dumangas, Iloilo; Catbalogan, Samar; Davao City, Davao del Sur; Cotabato City, Maguindanao; and Butuan City, Agusan del Norte had felt dangerous index of 42°C.
