Miss Universe 2023 Sheynnis Palacios to visit PH

Reining Miss Universe Sheynnis Palacios of Nicaragua is set to visit the Philippines as part of her ongoing Asian tour.

This was announced by Miss Universe owner Anne Jakrajutatip on social media.

"The Universe is calling!!! See you guys soon! Mabuhay and Namaste’ Do you want to do this!? Scream and shout ”Hello Universe!” when you meet Shey!!! Don’t forget to practice “Shey Sway Walk!” LOVE YOU, Everyone. You’re fantastic fans!" Anna wrote on her caption.

Sheynnis, Nicaragua's first Miss Universe, went on a tour of Asian countries, visiting Thailand, Laos, Cambodia, and China.

It is unclear how long the beauty queen will stay in the Philippines or if Sheynnis will appear at the Miss Universe Philippines 2024 pageant next month.

Sheynnis will be the third to visit the Philippines in recent years. In 2021, Harnaaz Sandhu from India became one of the judges at the Miss Universe Philippines 2022 Competition.

Miss Universe 2019 Zozibini Tunzi was a special host at the Miss Universe Philippines 2023. Last year, former Miss Universe R'Bonney Gabriel also came to the Philippines for official appearances, including the Miss Universe Philippines coronation night.

R'Bonney will host this year's Miss Universe Philippines pageant.

The 2024 Miss Universe Philippines coronation will be held at the SM Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City on May 22. This year's winner will represent the Philippines at the 73rd edition of the Miss Universe Competition in Mexico.
