2 senators, 4 journalists named 'Women of Essence'
MANILA, Philippines — Two senators, four journalists, one non-government organization (NGO) advocate, and 11 other Filipinas have been voted and chosen as this year’s Victoria Jackson’s Women of Essence in the Philippines.
Winners will be publicly announced in this year’s Victoria Jackson Philippines Launch at the posh Opus Lounge at Resorts World Manila on March 25.
“More than a 100 Filipinas were considered for the award,” said Sheilla Habab, PR manager of Victoria Jackson in the Philippines. “But only 15 remained after the rigorous selection process undertaken by Optimo International, the exclusive distributor of the Victoria Jackson brand in the Philippines.’’
Habab said that the process was essential to determine who among the current crop of beautiful Filipinas exude the kind of beauty, Victoria Jackson cosmetics is known for throughout the world.
The Victoria Jackson Search for the Women of Essence is the first in the Philippines. Victoria Jackson is an iconic cosmetics brand for Hollywood celebrities such as Angelina Jolie, Cameron Diaz, Demi Moore, Nicole Richie, Paris Hilton and even Madonna who are just some of the stars who regularly use Victoria Jackson products.
