The private sector’s offer of P10 million cash reward is essential for Kingdom of Jesus Christ(KOJC) leader Apollo Quiboloy Jr. to esure that he would appear in court and defend himself against the sexual abuse and exploitation of minors charges, the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) said. 

The DILG continues with its advocacy and commitment to uphold justice and protect the rights of women and children, ensuring that the vulnerable are defended and justice is served," the department said in a statement. 

“Let the truth come out and justice be served,’’ it added.

Earlier, DILG Secretary Benjamin “Benhur’’ Abalos Jr. challenged Quiboloy to surface and to face the charges leveled against him before the court of law.

Addressing Quiboloy directly, Abalos said, “If you are indeed innocent, face these allegations head-on in a court of law. Hiding behind influence or legal maneuvers does nothing to clear your name. True vindication comes from transparency and accountability. Man up and prove your innocence where it matters, in the courtroom.’’

In calling for Quiboloy’s surrender, Abalos stressed that justice is "not just the responsibility of the legal system but of society as a whole’’

“Let us unite to ensure that every victim receives the justice they deserve. By doing so, we not only support those affected but also help build a safer, more just society for future generations," he added.

Abalos issued the challenge in response to the President’s call for Quiboloy to address the serious accusations leveled against him, citing that “these allegations encompass various forms of abuse.’’

The DILG chief also asserted the critical importance of supporting the victims and ensuring justice is served, branding the accusations against Quiboloy as “grave, encompassing various forms of abuse. It is imperative that we, as parents, acknowledge the courage it takes for victims to come forward.’’

“By offering our support, we can help them navigate this challenging period and encourage others who might be suffering in silence to speak out’’ said Abalos.
