PRC lists 701 new engineers, architects
MANILA, Philippines — The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announced yesterday that 701 out of 1, 254 passed the Mechanical Engineer and Professional Electronics Engineer Licensure Examinations given by the Boards of Mechanical Enginering in Manila and Cebu, Electronics Engineering and Landscape Architecture this month.
Registration for the issuance of Professional Identification Card (ID) and Certificate of Registration will start on Friday, March 25, 2011 but not later than April 15, 2011. Those who will register are required to bring the following: duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal, current Community Tax Certificate (cedula), 2 pieces passport size picture (colored with white background and complete nametag), 1 piece 1” x 1” picture (colored with white background and complete nametag), 2 sets of metered documentary stamps, and 1 short brown envelope with name and profession; and to pay the Initial Registration Fee of P600 and Annual Registration Fee of P450 for 2011-2014 for Mechanical Engineer; Initial Registration Fee of P450 and Annual Registration Fee of P420 for 2011-2014 for Certified Plant Mechanic. Successful examinees should personally register and sign in the Roster of Registered Professionals.
The oath-taking ceremony of the successful examinees in the said examinations as well as the previous ones who have not taken their Oath of Professional will be held before the Board on Monday, April 25, 2011 at 1 p.m. at the Fiesta Pavilion, Manila Hotel, One Rizal Park, Manila.
The successful examinees who garnered the 10 highest places in the Mechanical Engineer Licensure Examination are the following:
1. Oliver Mangoba Revalo, Mapua Institute of Technology, 91.60; 2. Mark Loyd Marfa Baya, Mindanao State University-Marawi City, 91.50; 3. Miguel Cabral Yap, Technological University of the Philippines-Manila, 90.55; 4. Gromyko Tan Geraldino Jr, University of San Carlos, 89.85; 5. Raymond Alcoriza Dela Cruz, Bulacan State University (For.Bcat)-Malolos, 89.50; 6. Gerwin Pacinio Desquitado, Cebu Institute of Technology, 88.60; 7. Ralph Lawrence Go Kua, Mapua Institute of Technology, 88.25; 8. Joel Festejo Jorban, Mindanao State University-Marawi City, 87.65; 9. Joseph Karl Paras Contento, University Of San Carlos, 87.55; 10. Jino Karlo Asis Rivera, University of the Philippines-Diliman, 87.25.
Also, the PRC announced that 20 passed the Professional Electronics Engineer Examination given by the Board of Electronics Engineering in Manila this month.
Meanwhile, the PRC announced that 23 out of 34 passed the Landscape Architect Licensure Examination given by the Board of Landscape Architecture in Manila this month. Members of the Board of Electronics Engineering are Engr. Sylvia Icasiano-Marcelo, Chairman; Engr. Joel B. Bajador, Member.

Successful examinees should personally register and sign in the Roster of Registered Professionals.
