Demonkite returns in style as newcomer Aurora downs Blacklist; Omega spoils Wolf's TNC debut

The star jungler completed a huge Maniac down the stretch as Season 14 newcomer Aurora essayed a dominant debut and took down Blacklist International, 2-0, at the Green Sun Hotel in Makati on Friday, Aug. 16.

With Blacklist committing all of the skills just to take down one player from Aurora, Demonkite retaliated and glided through the clash with his signature Fanny pick to eliminate the Codebreakers one by one.

Demonkite erupted with a 10-1-1 line in Game 2, capping off a series long brilliance that also saw him shone on the Ling pick with a 2-0-5 line.

In a show of power, Aurora came out with guns blazing, taking down all of Blacklist's outer turrets inside the first 13 minutes of the game. 

Blacklist did have some semblance of fight when another returning player Michael “MP the King” Endino secured the Lord during a messy team fight at the 14-minute mark but they were punished as Aurora stormed back with a complete wipeout.

The Lord was not even enough to defend Blacklist’s base as it notched its first game victory in its franchise in just 16 minutes with a 7-0 kill scored in Game 1.

Kenneth “Yue” Tadeo proved to be the biggest thorn to the side of his former team in Game 1 finishing a perfect 2-0-5 line on the Zhask pick.

Meanwhile in the opening match, Smart Omega spoiled the coaching debut of new TNT tactician Caisam “Wolf” Nepueto with a 2-0 sweep.

Jomari “Jowm” Pingol starred in the first series, putting up a pair of dominant showing at the gold lane in Omega Esports’ sweep of TNC. 

He unloaded an explosive 5-1-6 line on the Harith pick in 16-10 Game 1 before following it up with an equally impressive 6-1-6 line on the Roger in Game 2.

Also stealing the show in Wolf’s MPL coaching debut was the surprise Hanzo pick of Andrew “Andoryuuu” Flora in the second game. 

Seldom used not only in the competitive play but also in typical ranked game, Andoryuuu proved that the hero can also be destructive after scattering a 4-2-7 line while securing two turtles and a lord in the 20-8 series clinching Game 2 win.
