CAMP DANGWA, Benguet – Police seized shabu and marijuana worth a total of P11.7 million and arrested nine suspected drug pushers from May 13 to 19.

Police Brig. Gen. David Peredo Jr., Police Regional Office-Cordillera director, said the suspects yielded 46.01 grams of suspected shabu worth P312,868 in buy-bust operations.
The Benguet Police Provincial Office (PPO) arrested five, the Baguio City Police Office two, and the Abra PPO and Kalinga PPO one each.
Seven were high-value individuals and two were street-level individuals.
Five marijuana eradication operations were conducted in the provinces of Benguet and Kalinga.
Authorities discovered 56,125 fully grown marijuana plants and 2,000 grams of dried marijuana leaves with fruiting tops worth P11.4 million.
Suspects face charges for violating Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
