Jessa, Geneva to release new albums

MANILA, Philippines – Geneva Cruz and Jessa Zaragoza are two established singers. They are also effective and successful product endorsers and just recently, they renewed their contract as celebrity endorsers of Bioessence.
Dr. Emma B. Guerrero, CEO of Bioessence said, “I see the advocacy of Bioessence in these women. They were able to maintain balance in their lives.”
At the contract-signing cum presscon, Jessa belied the rumor that all’s not well between her and husband Dingdong Avanzado. In fact, they’re celebrating the 10th year of their marital union this year. She admitted though that like all married couples, they went through trials and tribulations brought about by pressure of work and sometimes temptations inherent in showbiz.
The fact that Dingdong is older by 10 years helped balance their marital life. He is more mature, while Jessa matured by being a hands-on mother to their daughter. Jessa admitted that for a marriage to last, the couple has to work hard for it.
Jessa was once known as the “Phenomenal Diva” because of the tremendous success of her songs (that dominated the airwaves in the ’90s), especially “Bakit Pa?” She has a soulful voice and her seductive style of performance made her a byword during those years.
On the other hand, Geneva proved to be equally sensational with her powerful voice. Geneva was one of the original members of the very popular youth group in the ’90s called Smokey Mountain, formed by Maestro Ryan Cayabyab. She rose to become a successful recording artist, and stage and movie actress. Both Jessa and Geneva have proven bankability despite marriage and motherhood.
Sometime this year, Jessa will be releasing a highly-anticipated album, containing original Pilipino compositions by Vehnee Saturno, which will also serve as reunion for both the artist and composer after “Bakit Pa?”
The ever sexy Geneva is currently busy recording her new album, while gracing corporate shows and events in between.
