Ruffa eyes 'stress-free boyfriend'

MANILA, Philippines – A sexy body and a zero love life seem to fit perfectly in Ruffa Gutierrez’s lifestyle at the moment.
According to the 37-year-old actress, she’d rather be alone because of her busy career, dedicating time-off from work to daughters Lorin and Venice.
“I’m accountable to my daughters’ lives and I can’t have guys giving me stress. So if they give me stress I’d rather be alone,” Ruffa said. She also thinks it’s harder these days to find a man that could be called a “stress-free-boyfriend.”
“Unless you find a God-fearing Christian who would prioritize you then it’s hard. I’m not jaded but I’d rather be alone than be with someone who’s going to give me stress. If a man wants to be an addition to my life, he should accept everything about me, including my career, my children and my ways. If he can’t accept that then goodbye and go look for someone else,” she stressed.
You can’t blame Ruffa for being too cautious about getting into a serious relationship again as she is currently undergoing a tedious and taxing annulment process that made undergo a four-hour Psychiatric test to prove her sanity. This is also why she also wishes that there’s divorce in the Philippines.
“Based on my conversations with various women, they’re all hoping that there’s divorce here or an easier process of annulment because I’m telling you, I don’t want to go through that again,” she commented.
She attributes her “new body” to the latest procedure of the Belo Medical Group called Belo Tite. As an endorser of the said clinic, she agreed to try Belo Tite because it wasn’t an invasive procedure nor even close to liposuction. Ruffa describes it as a body contouring procedure that shapes a person’s body where it’s necessary or needed.
Ruffa pointed out the importance of a healthy diet and a regular workout for people to attain a healthier body.
The actress admits too that she was inspired by Jinkee Pacquiao, the wife of world boxing champion Manny Pacquiao. She saw her billboard and was impressed by how good she looks. So when Dr. Vicki Belo offered her to undergo the procedure, she said yes immediately.
“After I saw the billboard of Jinkee, I told myself that my body could also look as good as hers,” she revealed.

Kenny Loggins Live in Manila on May 22
Brace yourselves for a nostalgic summer shebang as Kenny Loggins performs at the SMX Convention Center on May 22.
The award-winning concert and songwriting genius earned a soft spot among millions of Pinoy baby boomers. Younger are able to enjoy his music via YouTube and Facebook.
It’s not surprising how his songs evoke timeless appeal with hits like “I Believe In Love,” “This Is It” and “Whenever I Call You Friend.” In the ’80s, he moved towards a jazzier, funk-flavored direction with “Heart to Heart,” sang with Steve Perry in “Don’t Fight It” and released the power ballad, “Forever.”
He also collaborated with Doobie Brothers figurehead Michael McDonald, spewing out a jazzier, funk-flavored vibe, and winning a Grammy for “What A Fool Believes.” At this same time, he gained even wider airplay through his soundtrack hits including “Footloose,” “I’m Free,” “Meet Me Halfway” and “Danger Zone.”
Despite the rigors of a hectic touring schedule, Loggins seems to look even younger with the passing of time. Still looking fit, trim and dapper minus his trademark beard, the iconic pop star exudes a youthful glow.
This one-of-a-kind concert experience is brought to you by Betamaximum Incorporated and Music Management International (MMI).
