Cristine: Rayver really makes me happy
MANILA, Philippines -- After the storm which the relationship of Cristine Reyes and Rayver Cruz went through, the former is now more open in expressing her feelings for the actor. Cristine sums it up, saying that Rayver really makes her happy. She revealed it during the press conference of “Tumbok” last Thursday night.
Unlike in the past, Cristine said that she doesn’t get questioned by her parents anymore when she goes out with Rayver. She feels she has earned their trust. “I’m happy with him because okay with my family. He understands my family. It also feels good to be relaxed with your work because you know he doesn't meddle with my career,” Cristine stressed in Filipino. She also said that Rayver is more mature when it comes to handling their relationship. Although Rayver kept telling her to be open about things she doesn’t like, she feels some things are better unsaid causing misunderstandings because of her stubbornness. But Rayver always ends up as the one mending the quarrels.
“He is very mature. I remember when we faced the issue concerning Sarah Geronimo, he was really there for me and for our relationship,” Cristine related.
In “Tumbok,” Cristine plays Grace, the wife of Ronnie (Carlo Aquino). Newlyweds, they moved to a condominium they inherited from Ronnie’s father. Unfortunately, the said condominium was located at a “tumbok” or a convergence of three roads, believed to be unlucky.
Also in “Tumbok” are Ryan Eigenmann, Jao Mapa, DJ Durano, LJ Moreno, Wendy Valdez, Malou de Guzman, Dino Imperial, Abby Bautista, Cheska Salcedo and Ana Capri, with the special participation of Ara Mina.
Written by Aloy Adlawan, “Tumbok” opens on May 4.
