The nation just couldn’t get over the arrival of its golden hero in Carlos Yulo as cash incentives and rewards, including a brand-new car, continue to go his way after cementing his name as the country's greatest Olympian.

Already assured of a P20 million as mandated by the Republic Act 10699 or the National Athletes and Coaches Benefits and Incentives Act, Yulo’s prizes have now ballooned to over P70 million on top of millions worth of rewards and perks.
Upon his arrival from Paris, the celebrated Yulo was welcomed by another P20 million cash incentive from the Office of the President while the House of Representatives has more than doubled its initial P6 million cash reward to P14 million.
Those were also on top of the P5 million pledged by Arena Plus, P3 million by Bounty Fresh, another P3 million from Megaworld on top of the P32 million-worth condominium unit at the high-end Mckinley Hill in Bonifacio Global City.
Businessman and politician Chavit Singson also pledged P5 million cash while boxing legend Manny Pacquiao also added an undisclosed amount of incentive.
On Thursday, Aug. 15, Toyota Philippines announced that it is giving Yulo a brand-new Land Cruiser Prado – a seven-seater SUV which is priced around P4.8 million.
"We hope this vehicle helps bring you to greater heights. We are excited to see where your journeys can further take you," Toyota said in a post.
While the condo unit from Megaworld was officially turned over to Yulo on Wednesday, Aug. 14, he still has a pair of house and lots to be claimed in Nasugbu, Batangas, and in Tagaytay, courtesy of the Century Properties Group and Philippine Olympic Committee, respectively.
He also has P1-million worth of products from SM retail stores while Apollo pledged P100,000 worth of furniture. Ideal Vision, meanwhile, offered a free lifetime supply of eyewear and eye-care solutions.
Yulo can also travel around the country and the world after being given 150,000 Mabuhay Miles per year for life from Philippine Airlines while Cebu Pacific pledged 28 domestic flights for Yulo this year.
Vikings had already announced that it is giving a lifetime free buffet on any of its branches and few other restaurant chains followed suit with Tipsy Pig also giving lifetime free food and drinks while Don Macchiatos is giving a free franchise of its stalls.
