RLC to build 2 more BPO buildings costing P4 billion
MANILA, Philippines — In anticipation of rising demand from business process outsourcing firms, Robinsons Land Corporation (RLC) will be developing two office towers at a cost of about P4 billion very near Robinsons Galleria.
In an interview with reporters, RLC president Frederick Go said the addition of a total of 80,000 square meters to its leasable space in the area further solidifies RLC’s position as the premier developer within the Ortigas central business district.
Go said the two buildings will sit on two of three lots the first bought in the area at a cost of P1 billion. He added that one of the lots is a foreclosed property while the others they bought from landowners.
The first building, Cyberscape One located between Sapphire and Garnet Roads, shall have a typical floor plate of 2,033 square meter on a 2,500 square meter lot. It shall stand 23-storeys tall, with 7 basements, and expected to be completed by middle 2013.
The second tower, Cyberscape Two, shall be 36 storeys, with 4 basement levels, and will be located between Topaz and Ruby Roads. It shall have a 1,486 square meters typical floor plate over 1,955 square meter lot.
RLC said BPO and call center offices are expected to be attracted to Cyberscape One and Two due to its strategic locations within Ortigas CBD as the buildings are located within easy access from EDSA and Ortigas Avenue and less than 5 minutes away from Ortigas MRT station.
The presence of FX/taxi lanes and other public transport vehicles assures will also assure easy accessibility to their employees. In addition, RLC they can also unwind after a long rigorous day or night at work at the nearby Robinsons Galleria mall.
Both buildings shall continue to have wide column spaces that are ideal for BPOs and call center offices since this feature allows flexibility in the design of their offices.
The buildings will also have ample parking, back-up power generators, overhead and underground water tanks that will continue to ensure uninterrupted operations and services within the buildings.
