MANILA, Philippines -- The man behind Charice’s booming international career, David “Hitman” Foster, is eyeing another Filipina to collaborate with the teen sensation.

Foster, who is also Charice’s godfather, finds it “great” if Sarah Geronimo and Charice can have a chance to work on a project together.

As reported by ABS-CBN’s North America Bureau, Foster declared: “I love Sarah. Sarah’s amazing and I think the two of them would be great together. I was in the Philippines and I wanted Sarah to come sing with me but she wasn’t available and I’d love to meet her someday.”

In her past interviews, Charice said that she has been showing video performances of her fellow Filipino singers to Foster, among them is Sarah. Coincidentally, Sarah used to host ABS-CBN’s talent search “Little Big Star” in 2005 where Charice emerged as 3rd placer.

Speculation on a Charice-Sarah team-up arose because Sarah reportedly works with a vocal coach, who is a friend of Foster’s. However, The Hitman revealed having not had a word with Sarah about it nor the collaboration yet.

Charice wraps second Hollywood film

In the same interview, Foster gave an update on his protégé.

“She’s working with some young producers, and I’m monitoring from the 30,000-foot level. She’s 18 now, she’s got her own voice, she’s got her own mind, and she’s going to do great,” he related.

Charice herself announced that she’s done with her second Hollywood film “Here Comes the Boom.”

“Done with the movie!!! It was nice working with everybody! Kevin James, Salma Hayek, Henry Winkler, everybody! Now it’s party time. :],” Charice tweeted on June 7 via her official Twitter account.

Charice, who first appeared on the movie “Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Squeakquel,” comes back to Hollywood big screen as Malia in “Here Comes the Boom.”

The film, which is reportedly set for release in 2012, tells the story of a music teacher (Kevin James) and his effort to raise funds to keep the music program in a school. “Here Comes the Boom” is directed by Frank Coraci (“Click,” “The Wedding Singer”).
