100 families displaced, 27 houses damaged in Tondo fire
At least 100 families were displaced in a fire that gutted 50 houses along Antonio Rivera Street, Tondo, Manila on Sunday, June 23.

According to the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP), the fire was declared first alarm at 9:25 p.m. and second alarm at 9:33 p.m.
Firefighters said they struggled to enter the narrow alleyway. It took them three hours before the fire was put under control at 12:47 a.m. on Monday, June 24, and another hour before it was extinguished at 1:32 a.m.
The Manila Police District (MPD) said the over P100,000 worth of property were damaged in the incident.
No one was reportedly injured, it added.
Arson investigators said the origin of the fire is still unknown.
