Man wanted for drug possession arrested in Las Piñas

A man who was wanted for illegal possession of drugs and hiding for two years was arrested by combined team of the Las Piñas Police Warrant and Subpoena Section (WSS) and the Station Intelligence Section (SIS) on Friday, July 5.

Las Piñas city police chief, Col. Sandro Tafalla said the suspect identified as alias Froi, 43, was arrested at around 5 p.m. along Satima Village, Barangay Talon Dos, Las Piñas City.

Tafalla said the suspect was arrested by virtue of warrant of arrest issued by Judge Anne Beatrice Aguana Balmaceda of Las Piñas Regional Trial Court Branch 200.

He said the suspect went into hiding since the warrant of arrest was issued to him by Balmaceda on November 29, 2022.

The police chief said the suspect was detained at the police custodial facility after his arrest for legal proceedings.
