2 drug suspects arrested in Pasay City

Two drug suspects were arrested by members of the Pasay City police Station Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU) during a buy-bust operation and confiscated from them P101,320 worth of shabu.

Pasay City Police Chief Col. Samuel Pabonita reported to the Southern Police District (SPD) the arrest of the suspects identified as alias Tropa, 45, a construction worker, and alias Peng, 40.

Pabonita said members of the SDEU conducted the buy-bust operation at around 5:45 p.m. along Barangay 201, Zone 20, Pasay City which led to the arrest of the suspects.

He said confiscated from the suspects were three plastic sachets containing 14.9 grams of shabu and valued at P101,320.

The SPD said that aside from the shabu, operatives also recovered the P500 buy-bust money, and one dark brown leather coin purse from the suspects.

The confiscated shabu was turned over to the SPD-Forensic Unit for qualitative and quantitative analysis.

The suspects, who were immediately detained at the SDEU custodial facility, were charged for illegal possession of drugs.
