MANILA, Philippines -- The bishops are back and ready to fight so to speak.
Now that the seven bishops implicated in the so called “PCSO fund mess” has already been cleared, the Catholic Church is again focusing their attention in opposing the Reproductive Health (RH) bill.
Monsignor Juanito Figura, Catholic Bishops’ Conference of the Philippines (CBCP) secretary general, said they are now concentrating their attention in the fight against the controversial bill which they dubbed as anti-life and anti-family.
“The fight against the RH bill still continue. In fact, preparations are being made for the 43rd anniversary of Pope Paul VI’s encyclical Humanae Vitae (Human Life) which happens to be on the day of the State of the Nation Address (SONA) on July 25,” he told reporters in an interview.
“But we’ll be doing activities a week before that just to stay away from the SONA,” added Figura.
Aside from Humanae Vitae, the Catholic Church is also marking the 20th anniversary of the apostolic exhortation Familiaris Consortio (of family partnership).

Looks like tahimik ang Cardinal about this fiasco, bakit kaya?
Against their vows as a church leaders, these bishops broke their vows by engaging in LUXURIES of riding in nice Brand New SUVS. Who know at baka hindi lang SUV's ang "sina-sakyan" ng mga iyan lalo na pag-kagat ng dilim.
Instead of giving them at least any disiplinary actions, CBCP is actually giving them more projects, projects that could give those bishops more reasons to ask for LUXURY MOTOR HOMES, or even LUXURY Yaths so they can move from island to island; or may be HELICOPTERS so they can reach the mountain top villages.
Ang dapat dito palitan ang Cardinal at nag mu-mukhang inutil ito dahil di nya kayang bigyan ng disiplina ang mga disipolo niya. Unless may tina-tago din siyang kalokohan.
Talaga...mga hypocrite ang mga iyan. At iyong cardinal tahimik walang leadership kase makasalanan din. Nagbubulagbulagan...Those thieves know that their blind followers are with them...all the way. The arroyos are smart enough to know this..so they rub it's others behind. Mabaho ang mga iyan.
