QCPD launches 'Serbisyong Pangkalusugan' for uniformed personnel

The Quezon City Police District (QCPD) launched a three-day Enhanced Monitoring of Police Overall Wellness (EMPOW) program on Monday, August 5.

The program aims to maintain the health and wellness of its personnel.

According to the QCPD’s public information office, the program will run until Wednesday, August 7.

It added that a total of 624 personnel, 40 years old and aboce, who completed the Annual Physical Examination (APE) last January and December 2023, participated in the program.

The QCPD added that the program includes both officers with normal health results and those who require further evaluation and management due to identified medical conditions.

During the program, officers received health services such as nutritional counseling, medical evaluation, stress management, dental profiling, and other dental services.

The initiative was designed to raise health awareness among police personnel, focusing on the early detection of health issues.

It also provides comprehensive monitoring and follow-up care for those with medical conditions.

The program encourages the officers to actively participate in wellness initiatives to improve their overall health and well-being.

"The wellness of our personnel is crucial to maintaining an effective and efficient police force. By ensuring their health, we not only enhance their quality of life but also strengthen our capability to serve and protect the community,” QCPD Director Brig. Gen. Redrico Maranan said.
