One of the two suspects who robbed three foreigners was arrested by members of the Parañaque City Police in a follow-up operation on August 5.
The suspect identified as "Kuyang" was arrested at around 4:30 a.m. at his residence in Riverside, Barangay Tambo, Parañaque City.
Meanwhile, the victims were identified as "Roger," a Canadian national, "Kit," a Malaysian national, and "Yu," anChinese national.
Based on the police report, the victims were eating at a noodle house on Bradco Avenue on August 2 when the suspects entered the restaurant armed with a gun.
One of the suspects declared holdup and took away the cellphones and other valuables of the victims.
During the police follow-up operation, a witness identified Kuyang as one of the robbers, which led to his arrest.
Recovered from him were a .45 caliber pistol with seven live ammunitions and a red Honda Beat motorcycle.
Kuyang is currently detained at the police custodial facility and was charged with grave threat, robbery, and violation of illegal possession of firearm.
Authorities are still searching for his cohort.
