PRO-6 seizes P11.25-M shabu in Western Visayas

ILOILO CITY – The Police Regional Office-6 seized suspected shabu worth P11.25 million in Western Visayas in one week.

Police Brig. Gen. Jack Wanky, PRO-6 director, in a statement said 1.6 kilos of shabu were confiscated and 114 suspected drug pushers were arrested from August 5 to 11.

Wanky credited hard work for the achievement.

“These accomplishments are the result of your hard work and dedication in our campaign against illegal drugs,” he said.

The Bacolod City Police Office confiscated 300 grams of shabu worth more than P2 million from three drug pushers on August 10, followed by the Capiz Police Provincial Office-Drug Enforcement Unit with 150 grams or more than P1 million from three suspects on August 9.

Third was the Iloilo Police Provincial Office with 110 grams or P748,000 from three suspects last August 9.

The Negros Occidental Police Provincial Office apprehended the most number of drug suspects with 43.
