Is your family earning more? Average income rise to P353,230 for Filipino households
Did your family earn more than the average income of Filipino households last year? According to the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA), household earnings improved across all regions in 2023.
On a national level, the average income for Filipino families reached P353,230, which breaks down to about P29,435 per month. This figure reflects a 15 percent increase compared to P307,190 in 2021 and exceeds the pre-pandemic income of P313,450 recorded in 2018.
Among the 18 regions, Metro Manila reported the highest average family income at P513,520, a substantial increase of 22.9 percent from P417,850 in 2021. Region IV-A (Calabarzon) followed with an average income of P426,530, an 18 percent rise from P361,030.
On the other end of the spectrum, the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region had the lowest annual family income at P206,880, although this is an increase from P168,910 in 2021.
