Ambassador Constance See Sin Yuan of the Embassy of Singapore led the lighting of the SM MOA Globe recently as part of the 55th anniversary celebration of the diplomatic relations between Singapore and the Philippines. Present at the activity were Ambassador See’s spouse Max Lim with SM Supermalls President Steven Tan and Executive Vice President for Marketing Joaquin San Agustin. The iconic landmark featured the commemorative logo celebrating the strong ties and enduring friendship between the two countries.

Singapore Ambassador Constance See said “I am thrilled to see the iconic SM MOA Globe illuminated with the colors and symbols of our two nations. This is a meaningful and timely tribute as we celebrate Singapore’s 59th National Day and the 55th anniversary of the strong and enduring partnership between Singapore and the Philippines. For over five decades, our two countries have collaborated and supported each other in ways that have brought tremendous benefits to our peoples. The Singapore Embassy is delighted to partner with SM Supermalls, which has played a key role in bringing Singaporean lifestyle brands to Filipino consumers, further strengthening the bond between our nations."
