3 suspects yield P680,000 shabu, P1.3-M ecstasy in Dasma buy-bust

CAVITE – Authorities arrested three high-value drug personalities and seized over P2 million worth of illegal drugs in a buy-bust operation in Dasmariñas City, on Thursday, Aug. 29.

The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) Region IV-A identified the suspects as Lenard C. Cañete alias Marlon, Abegail G. Arandia alias Bai, and Claire Ann R. Adolfo.

Another suspect, identified as Jomel Martinez, remains at large.

Confiscated during the operation were more or less 100 grams of suspected shabu with an estimated street value of P680,000.

Authorities also seized 800 pieces of blue tablets, suspected to be ecstasy, worth P1,360,000.

The suspects are facing charges for violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.

The joint operation was conducted by PDEA Regional Office IV-A Regional Special Enforcement Unit Team 1, PDEA Cavite Provincial Office, Philippine National Police Regional Drug Enforcement Unit IV-A, and the Dasmariñas Component City Police Station Drug Enforcement Unit.
