MANILA, Philippines -- Doing love scenes is nothing new to awarded actress Lovi Poe. But in her latest movie, “My Neighbor’s Wife” from Regal Entertainment, Lovi not only engages in kissing scenes but in steamy and sizzling love scenes, it was reported. Not just with one partner but with two.

In the movie megged by Jun Lana, and which also stars the now-controversial Carla Abellana, Lovi goes to bed with equally awarded actor Dennis Trillo and Jake Cuenca. Lovi and Dennis play husband and wife.

Lovi describes her character: “Totoong tao lang ang character ko rito. May weak points. Minsan mabait, minsan masama! Parehas akong may love scenes at kissing scenes kay Dennis at Jake kaya nakakaloka.”

She also admitted to having nervous streaks while filming those intimate scenes. “It’s kinda awkward dahil nasa harap ka ng camera. But you can go through it naman, dahil work ito and you have to do your best.”

“My Neighbor’s Wife” opens Sept. 14. Before that, the stars will go on a mall tour. On Sept. 4, they will be at Robinsons Dasmariñas and on Sept. 10, at SM Bicutan.

Jose Sarasola: A raging bull

“Pinoy Fear Factor” (PFF) contestant Jose Sarasola remains single due to a very busy and complicated acting and business careers.

The 25-year-old hunk put up “Chill Factor,” a food booth located in 168 Divisoria with Jommy Teotico, the reality show’s champ. The College of Saint Benilde graduate also decided to put his hotel and restaurant management degree to good use and opened Avenue 75 Sports Bar located along Aguirre Street at BF Homes in Parañaque City.

The two-storey watering hole offers a fusion of Filipino-Japanese and Spanish dishes. The half-Spanish, also partnered with PFF runner up Manuel Chan, Jommy and two business folks, to put up a special events group called XFactor Productions, Inc.

Meanwhile, Jose hopes to be paired with Kim Chiu in the future.

Talented singer Kristel Herrera performs Tuesday and Friday nights at the Café de Malate located along M. H. del Pilar in Malate. The famous watering hole is owned by Bobby Velasco, who is himself a good singer.

Kristel sings songs popularized by Regine Velasquez, Mariah Carey, Beyoncé Knowles, Celine Dion, Whitney Houston and Shakira. She has been singing professionally since 2005 as mainstay in RJTV’s “Gimme A Break.”
